Privacy policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This policy explains what information Skale Bak collects when you use skalebak.com or contact us, why we collect it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to be read. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and we will explain it in plain words.

By using this website or sending us your information, you agree to it being collected and used as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or send us your details.

Who we are

The website is run by Skale Bak LLC, based in Denver, Colorado, United States. Skale Bak places trained virtual assistants, based in the Philippines, with business owners. You can reach us at [email protected] or +1 (720) 730 6211.

Words used in this policy

  • We, us and our mean Skale Bak LLC.
  • You means the person using the site or contacting us, or the business that person acts for.
  • The site means skalebak.com and every page on it.
  • Personal information means any information that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you.
  • Usage information means information collected automatically when you use the site, such as the pages you visit.
  • Service providers means the companies that process information on our behalf so that we can run the site and our business.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Booking a call. Your name, email, phone number, the time you choose and anything you tell us about your business.
  • Downloading a free system or playbook. Your name, email, company name and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
  • Asking a question or using the contact page. Your name, email, optionally your phone number and company, and your message.
  • The quiz on the homepage. Your answers, such as which jobs take your time and roughly how many hours, along with the contact details you enter to see your result.
  • Emails, texts and calls. Anything you send us or tell us when we speak.
  • If you become a client. The information needed to run the service, which is covered by your service agreement as well as this policy.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address and the approximate location it suggests.
  • Your browser type and version, your device type, operating system and screen size.
  • The pages you visit, the date and time of your visit and how long you spend on a page.
  • How you arrived: the website that referred you, and campaign details in the link you followed, such as utm tags or an advertising click identifier, if the link carried one.
  • Standard diagnostic information that web servers record, such as errors.

If you send us a form, the campaign details and the page you first landed on are sent with it, so we know which of our own efforts brought you here.

What we do not collect

  • We do not take payment details on this website.
  • We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health information, government identification numbers or financial account numbers through the site.
  • We do not buy personal information from data brokers or anyone else.

Cookies, browser storage and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website places on your device. Browser storage is a similar mechanism that keeps information inside your own browser. Some last only until you close your browser, called session storage or session cookies, and some stay until they expire or you delete them, called persistent storage.

What this site itself uses

  • Session storage for where you came from. We remember the campaign or link that brought you for the length of a single visit, so that if you book a call or send a form we can credit the right campaign. It is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Local storage for forms that fail to send. If you submit a form and your connection drops, your browser keeps a copy of it on your own device and sends it the next time you visit. It is removed once it has been delivered.

Alongside our CRM's own page tracking, this site uses Google Tag Manager to load two advertising tags, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, and Google Analytics where we have set it up. All of them are described below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Tag Manager and everything it loads stay switched off.

What other companies may set

  • GoHighLevel page tracking. Our CRM provides a tracking script that records which pages of this site you view and how you use our forms. If you send a form or book a call, that activity is linked to your contact record, so we can see what you read before getting in touch. It uses cookies to recognise your browser when you come back to this site.
  • The booking calendar. Our calendar is provided by GoHighLevel and embedded on the site. When it loads, GoHighLevel may set its own cookies and receive standard technical information, under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Tag Manager is a container that loads the tags listed here. Google Ads records when a visit from one of our ads leads to a booked call or a form, and may add your browser to an audience so our ads can be shown to you again on other websites. Google Analytics, where enabled, measures how visitors use the site. Google sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and you can turn off ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
  • The Meta Pixel. This tells Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, that a browser visited this site or booked a call, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited. Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy, and you can manage it in your Meta ad preferences.
  • Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google for them and Google receives your IP address, under Google's privacy policy.
  • Our emails. Emails we send may contain small images or links, sometimes called web beacons or tracking links, that tell us whether an email was opened or a link clicked. Most email apps let you block images to prevent this.

Your choices

You can set your browser to refuse cookies, to clear storage when you close it, or to warn you before a cookie is set. If you do, the site will still work, although the booking calendar may not load or may ask you to allow it. Blocking cookies also stops the page tracking from recognising you. Our advertising tags never load when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, so turning that on keeps Google Ads, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel off for you. You can also turn off ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.

How we use your information

  • To reply to you, and to hold the call you booked.
  • To send you the free system, playbook or quiz result you asked for.
  • To follow up about your enquiry, and to send occasional emails about our services that are relevant to what you asked about. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand which of our marketing works, and to improve the site.
  • To provide the service, if you become a client, and to manage our agreement with you.
  • To keep the site and our systems secure, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
  • To evaluate or carry out a merger, sale or reorganisation of our business, as described below.

How we contact you

We may contact you by email, phone or text message about the call you booked, the enquiry you made or the service you use. Marketing emails always include a way to unsubscribe. If we text you, reply STOP to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt in data and consent are never shared with anyone.

The legal basis for using your information

Where the law asks us to have a legal basis, such as for visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on:

  • Your consent, for example when you ask for a free system or agree to hear from us. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • A contract, when we need the information to provide a service you asked for or to take steps before entering into an agreement.
  • Our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, replying to enquiries and keeping the site secure, where those interests are not outweighed by yours.
  • A legal obligation, when the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Not to anyone, for any amount. Our Google and Meta advertising tags do tell those companies that a browser visited this site, which some state laws treat as sharing for advertising. To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and those tags will not load for you, or block third party cookies.

Who we share it with

Service providers

Only the companies that help us operate, only for that purpose, and only under terms that limit what they can do with it:

  • GoHighLevel, which holds our contacts, our calendar, our email and our text messaging, and provides the page tracking on this site.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website.
  • Google, for calendar invitations, video calls, the fonts on this site, and the Tag Manager, Ads and Analytics tags described above.
  • Meta, for the advertising pixel described above.

If we add another provider that handles personal information, this list changes with it.

Your assistant, if you become a client

The assistant you choose works from the Philippines and will see the information needed to do the work, under the confidentiality agreement signed directly with you and under Philippine law, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Logins are shared through a password manager, limited to what the role needs and never sent in plain text, and you can remove any access at any time, for any reason.

Business transfers

If Skale Bak is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of the business, personal information may be transferred as part of it. We will give notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Affiliates

If we ever have a parent company, subsidiary or other company under common control, we may share information with it, and it will be required to honour this policy.

When the law requires it

We may disclose personal information if required to by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority, such as a court or government agency. We may also disclose it in the good faith belief that doing so is necessary to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation.
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of Skale Bak.
  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the site or our services.
  • Protect the personal safety of people using the site or the public.
  • Protect against legal liability.

With your consent

For any other purpose, only if you agree to it.

Where your information is processed

Your information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers keep their systems, which may be outside your state or country. The data protection laws there may differ from those where you live. We only use providers that take reasonable steps to keep information secure, and we will not transfer your information to an organisation or country unless adequate controls are in place to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as there is a reason to: to reply to you, to provide a service, to meet a legal obligation, to resolve a dispute or to enforce an agreement. Contact records are reviewed periodically and removed when they are no longer needed. Usage information is generally kept for a shorter time, unless it is needed to keep the site secure or the law requires us to keep it longer.

If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it, and we do not keep a shadow copy to remember that you asked. The only exceptions are information the law requires us to keep, in which case we keep only that and tell you what it is, and a do not contact record, which we keep only if you ask us never to contact you again.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to do their work, and we use established providers to store it. No method of sending information over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, so while we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy of it in a format you can use.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop or limit how we use it, or object to a particular use.
  • Withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
  • Stop contacting you, which you can also do from the bottom of any marketing email or by replying STOP to a text.

Laws in some places, including California, Colorado and other US states, the European Union and the United Kingdom, give people specific versions of these rights. We give them to everyone, wherever you live, and we will never treat you differently for using them.

Email [email protected] and say what you would like. There is no form to fill in and we will not ask you why. To protect your information, we may need to confirm it is really you, usually by asking you to reply from the email address we hold. Someone you authorise can also make a request on your behalf. We aim to respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This is a service for businesses. The site is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

The site may link to websites we do not run. If you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies, and we encourage you to read it. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of other websites.

Using this website

This site is here to explain what Skale Bak does and to let you get in touch. By using it, you also agree to the following.

  • Our service has its own agreement. Every client signs a service agreement before anything starts. The prices, guarantees and notice periods described on this site are summaries of it, and where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
  • The free systems are yours to use. Use them in your own business as much as you like. Please do not sell them or republish them as your own. Everything else on the site, including the writing and design, belongs to Skale Bak.
  • The site is general information. Nothing on it is legal, financial or tax advice, and we do not promise a particular business outcome from reading it. We work to keep it accurate, but the site is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it.
  • Colorado law applies to this site and this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also put a notice on the site and, where we hold your email address, tell you by email before it takes effect. Previous versions are available on request.
